Building Profile

179 Elizabeth Street was developed in 1992 on a site that was owned by a number of owners, whose interests have been retained in the development.

The site comprises of 4 basement car parking levels, ground floor retail, and 16 upper levels.

Levels 1, 2 and 3 are owned by the Tattersalls Club, part of level 4 by The Womens Club, level 6 by FP&S (no 12) Pty Ltd and part of the ground floor by The Daughters of St Paul, all of which were previous site owners.

The net lettable area of the GPT premises is approximately 15, 030m2. The office floors range in size from the low rise floors with 1, 572m2 down to approximately 623m2 on level 16. The floor sizes from level 11 upwards become progressively smaller as they step back from the frontage so as to prevent extended shadows over Hyde Park. Levels 11 and above benefit from balconies for use by the tenants.

The building's main access is from Elizabeth Street although both street access and access to the carpark is available from Castlereagh Street.
